Local to me? Here’s the thing. We are having the winter edition of Knit In Public, right here in Jacksonville, Florida. Because let’s face it. Florida in June? Were they kidding us? Sure there was a great turn out (I missed it sadly) but everyone who came was felting their wool with their hot sweaty hands.
And this is not just because I missed the last one. This is serious. And not even my idea. This is courtesy of the brilliant and beautiful Kimber, who everyone knows and loves. If you don’t love her, you haven’t met her. I’m not kidding. Everyone loves this girl. Even my 9 and 10 year old sons who think girls are icky.
So here’s the deets… WAIT! Before you read the deets, I need you to do something for me. Post this on your blog. We want as many people there as possible. We want to meet new friends. There will be all sorts of fiber crafts, spinning, knitting, crocheting, the whole nine (hundred) yards. Heck if you’re local and don’t know how to knit come anyway. We’ll find someone to teach you! So copy and paste the portion that starts right below this and blog it. BLOG IT! (please!)
