So in the exciting news department, I think I mentioned I was designing socks for a sock club. But not just any sock club, the inaugural Politically Incorrect Sock Club by Sugarbee Studios. This woman has more talent and creativity in her pinky finger than I have in my entire body. But she’s really nice, so we still like her. It’s a small club, only 10 spaces, and there are 6 spaces left as of this writing. Her yarns are gorgeous and the extras you get with the club… well let’s just say I’m jealous!
So go forth and support her. I know y’all are tired of the same old same old in the sock yarn/club world. Try something different!
In other news, this is my 301st post on this blog (in this or some other incarnation), so I’m thinking contest. I don’t get a ton of traffic here, but my numbers have been steadily going up. If I get a nice push, I could hit 1000 unique visitors this month. That would be cause for celebration. So I’m gonna root through my stash and put on my thinking cap, and there will be a contest coming up soon. But it ain’t gonna be no “random stranger stops by blog, leaves inane comment, wins fun stuff out from under loyal reader’s nose” kind of contest. Nope, I think it might be a sort of a scavenger hunt sort of thing. Hmmm…. More details later gators!
Congrats on the 300+ blogposts. It’s amazing how quickly time goes by!
Congrats on 300 posts — and then some! Well, one, but that’s more than 300, so there.
I just checked out the Politically Incorrect Sock Club, and my finger almost, almost hit the buy button. It took some real self control to keep from joining, but I’m hoping to live vicariously through the great stuff you get.
Awww, you made me do it!I joined. 3 months of fab yarn and your patterns… couldn’t say no.
There goes my yarn diet.
This sock club thingy is making me wish I knit socks. Congrats on your 301st post!
I wish I was in the market to join a sock club right now – that one certainly looks more interesting than a lot of them!
