It’s sheep time!

My love affair with Baah Yarn has not gone unspoken. The colors, the hand, the beautiful way the tones work together….

Yeah. Isn’t that lovely? Being more than slightly obsessed with all shades of turquoise right now this is holding a very special place in my heart. And when you add in the lime the colors just sing!

This is way easier than it looks. The ruffle is worked first with some very simple short-rows. There’s no intarsia, no pain, no agony. You pick up stitches and then it’s slip stitch city. Seriously. And then the main body of the shawl is knit, purl, or slip.

The top edge of the shawlette is finished off with a few simple short-rows and a simple single-crochet edging. And it’s the third of the Seven Sheep!

This shawl will work up beautifully in any two colors of Baah Yarn. You need two 100g / 400 yard skeins. I think an even more pronounced contrast would be gorgeous. And with all the rich saturated Baah colors you can’t go wrong!

Biellese is available for $6.00 USD

Or as part of the Seven Sheep for $21.95 USD

Needles: Size 7 needles (4.5 mm) and US Size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook for edging

Yarn: Baah! La Jolla, 2 skeins – shown in Blue Topaz & Tequila Lime

Gauge: 18 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches in blocked body pattern

Size: Approximately 60″ wide and 20″ deep after blocking
