Here we don’t really get the winter. I mean it gets chilly. Kind of. This morning it was 48 on my way to take the boys to school. Of course now it’s about 60 and sunny. Winter is actually my favorite season here. Very mild, and it’s fun and easy to be outside. But maybe you live somewhere grey and cold. You need something sunny and bright. Like these socks!
Now the colorway is Bar Nun, from the sock club that Sugarbee ran last fall. But if you ask her (or me) we can get her to dye more. Or you can use your own favorite retina-burning colorway.
Needles: Size 1 (2.5 mm) 40 inch circular (or size to get gauge)
Yarn: Sugarbee Studios Superwash Sock, 460 yards, Bar Nun colorway
Size: Small, Medium and Large
Gauge: 30 sts and 44 rows to 4 inches in stockinette in the round
I’ve been saving this kit for when it gets really cold and dreary. Just looking at the funky colors makes me happy. It’s really, really grey out today, so I may have to start winding yarn… : )
