I settled in Thursday to watch Harry Potter and make some serious progress on my new shawlette pattern. It worked. Sort of. I only ended up watching one movie. But I’m past the half-way point on the shawl and the pattern is already out to test knitters. Basically I spent so long on Friday sitting at the computer doing editing and chartwork that my butt fell asleep. But I’m feeling good about that – the design, not the sleepy butt.
I feel like my designing mojo has been rejuvenated or something. Maybe it’s the fact that Pumpkin Spice Latte is back on the menu at Starbucks. Maybe it’s the fact that the past few days have had cool evenings and weather that allowed me to roll down the windows on the VinnieMan. Not sure. But I’m not gonna argue with it. I’m going to sketch the ideas as fast as they come to me, and try to knit like the wind.
Pumpkin Spice Latte is kind of magical.
Looks very pretty so far! 🙂
The yarn is gorgeous! Sounds like a dream evening in my opinion.
