Confectionary Pullover

I still miss Fall. I spent my first 30 years in Ohio where fall was a glorious thing. Crisp leaves, bonfires, chilly days, and sweater weather. Why did I not learn to knit until I moved to Florida? Because I am an idiot.
But I can design pretty fall things for you! I loved designing this Confectionary Pullover. The top-down yoke construction was just like designing a shawl. Placing the increases just so, making the patterning flow perfectly. So much fun!

The Confectionary Pullover is worked up in Filatura Di Crosa Sportwool, 950 -1500 yards. It makes well-defined stitches and the lace blocks beautifully! The yoke is a lace pattern that alternates stockinette with reverse stockinette and then it blends perfectly into a reverse stockinette body with twisted stitch columns.

The Confectionary Pullover is available in the fall issue of Knitscene, along with a whole bevy of beautiful projects. I was super excited when I saw it displayed at the summer TNNA. It’s available in print form or digitally.

I adored this construction method and I see many more yoked sweaters in my future!
