No really. Don’t get the scissors out until you are done knitting. Until you need to trim the ends you’ve so carefully weaved in. Because you might think that you can use the scissors to cut your unfroggable mohair lace project back to a point where you can pick up the stitches. You would be wrong. And if you’ve had the week I’ve had, you might attack your poor knitting. And your lace, which looks like a serial killer attacked a bride with the gardening shears, will be sitting in the trash on top of the broken jar of barbecue sauce. And the dark red stains will add to the image of a bride snuffed out on her wedding day. It’s a sad, somewhat disturbing picture.
So don’t knit with scissors.
