One of these days I will learn that everything takes longer than I think it will. The last rows of the sixth sonnet are being worked today. I know how many stitches I can work per hour, and I know all the commitments that I have made. But everything just seems to gang up on me when I’m on a deadline.
If you are an e-book buyer you already have the pattern for Marlais. It really is going to be lovely. The mocha yarn from Tempted Yarns is her Lacy Luxe Grrl base and it’s just wonderful. It’s a fabulous MCN that’s a very light fingering / heavy lace weight. And it’s as soft and shiny as all get out.

It’s hard for me to believe that the Seven Sonnets are nearly done. Just one more to go – right in the busiest time of the year. One of these days I’ll learn!
