Ok. So I’m also feeling tired. It’s 9:50 PM and after I blog I shall be washing the face, brushing the teeth, and doing a mad hunt for my sleeping mask. Yes I wear one. It’s very frou-frou. It’s hot pink and it has little black eyelashes embroidered on it. I would take a picture of it but it always seems to get lost under the bed. Hence the hunting. Why do I wear one? Remember the rest stop blankets on the boys’ windows? Same reason. Brightest halogen lamp ever. Of course I’m not sure what the purpose of it is because the cats and the racoons seem to think it’s their own personal spotlight, but whatever.
Why am I tired? Two reasons. Both of which are a friend’s fault. Reason one – exercise. Yes I know it’s good for me. But for three days in a row she shows up at my door with her family in tow (literally – there is a wagon involved) and I gather up the boys and we walk. Only about two and a quarter miles, but from nothing to that… well it’s making me tired.
Reason two:
More cheesy vampire books. Also said friend’s fault. She loaned them to me. I read the first one last night (up until 1am – tired!) and the 2nd one this morning, and the 3rd one this afternoon. And then I went for another walk. She has the fourth book but she’s not done yet. She needs to hurry. No, really.
Hey, I’m tired for very similar reasons! Went on a long walk with a work friend who is trying to lose weight. And I read way after my bedtime. I find it impossible to put a book down when it gets good, and I’m not a fast reader, so very little sleep happens. But it’s so much fun, it’s worth it.
