I might have mentioned I’m not a green person, but I am in love with this green. Lurve might be a better word. It really just is the dreamiest combination of every color green that melds to make… something good. I want a whole sweater in this green.

It’s the busy time around here but the 3rd sonnet is moving along nicely. I figured out a transition that was vexing me and it’s going to be lovely, lovely. Turtlepurl has the dyepots going so there will be some of this special green available as well as other colors in her scrumptious pillowtalk base. If you head over to her shop – it’s a light fingering, so it’s listed with the laceweights. I’m using size 5 needles on mine and it’s making just the right fabric.

This is the third of the Seven Sonnets and the pattern will be released on September 1st. Other than that I’m frantically managing the back to school crush. We’re not doing too badly, but the boys are still adjusting to the early wake up times and the return to schedule. Hopefully the back to normal will results in lots of productivity for me – I’ve got some great things in the works!
