Seven and done?

by | Dec 10, 2012 | Uncategorized

Time passes so quickly. I can’t believe this project is almost complete. I’ve worked with so many amazing yarns and taught myself an entirely new set of designing software in the process. But I must admit it will be nice not to have the monthly pressure of a sonnet for a bit. Besides the new year is chock full of other knitting design commitments already!

The seventh and final sonnet is being worked up in Breathless, an exquisitely soft blend of superwash merino, cashmere, and silk. It’s ok to swoon. This yarn is very swoonworthy. And Shalimar Yarns dyes it up in a breathtaking array of sumptuous colors. Just take a look at all her color options! The sonnet is using Byzantium, a perfect rich deep color for winter knitting.

It’s almost a little sad to be knitting final sonnet. But take a look at all the past sonnets – and all the gorgeous projects that folks have worked up with the patterns – and more sneak peeks of this one will be available soon!
