The second of the Seven Sheep has been released. This one is named Charollais – named for a domestic breed of sheep that originates from France. Apparently they have been bred to be poiled. Which is that they don’t have horns. I’m actually learning quite a bit about sheep through this project!

Charollais is a one-skein project with the body worked up in a deceivingly simple textured stitch. A lot of of folks who saw this at TNNA though it was crocheted – the fabric has that kind of beautiful openwork.

It uses one skein of Baah! LaJolla and the samples are shown in Pretty In Pink and Orange Amber. You can pre-purchase all Seven Sheep for $21.95 or buy Charollais individually for $6.00. And wait until you see the third sheep!
